Love， perhaps， begins with a meal.
Through the steam， two men edge a little closer.
Two gentle short stories， each beginning with a simple ’this is good， isn’t it？’

’Half-Price Deli Food’
Work has kept him busy for years， and somehow he’s the one eating alone.
Then a lunch break side by side on an office stairwell brings a small change.
Grown-ups who never quite grew up， and a love that is only just beginning.

’Nagoya-Style Miso-nikomi Udon’
Old friends who somehow never drift apart.

One clay pot， a little bickering， and ’You really have no idea， do you？’ And still neither of them leaves. A slow， unhurried romance on a quiet evening.

By the last page， you may find yourself wanting to share a meal with someone.
（This includes both Japanese and English versions.）
